As a partner of Bunning Bowman Ridley & Smith, LLP, Mike brings over 25 years of experience working with owners and operators of privately held businesses. Mike enjoys working one on one with his clients and is able to apply his vast entrepreneurial experience and tax knowledge to helping them run and grow their business. He specializes in long range planning, structuring transactions to minimize taxes and performs studies used to increase business profitability. "My clients come to me when they need help. I try to be their problem solver by giving them practical quality advice that works".
Mr. Bowman graduated with a degree in Accounting from California State University of Chico, and immediately started at a CPA firm and was assigned to School District Audits. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in
California
and
Wyoming
and is enrolled to practice before the IRS.
In 1992 Mike went into business for himself and continued to work closely with businesses and individuals assisting each one in the areas of tax, tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, business development planning, and audits.
Mr. Bowman’s practice expertise has been concentrated in public accounting. His clients depend on his ability to navigate through business and individual tax returns and solve extremely complex issues. As a well rounded, solid tax professional clients feel comfortable that he will handle their business and personal tax needs.
Over the years Mr. Bowman has found specific industries that require special attention and expertise. Mike specializes in trucking companies, real estate transactions, auto dealerships, appeals, audits, litigation support, and all aspects of individual, corporate, partnership, estate, trust tax returns, and expert witness testimony.
Mr. Bowman belongs to the AICPA and California State Society of CPAs.
